Holiday Shop Stop

There is a toy store here in town that has a giant Christmas countdown in front of the store. The countdown started before Thanksgiving, and I get excited every time I drive by it.....20 days!! Now, as much as I love Christmas......and I LOVE Christmas, I hate Christmas shopping. It's stressful and crowded, and every time I walk by an Abercrombie & Fitch I get a headache from the stench of cologne that they have doused the store in (what's up with that?!). Online shopping is definitely the way to go..... no lines, crowded stores, annoying kiosk vendors trying to rub lotion all over you and straighten your hair, or smelly frat-boy clothiers.

Etsy is one of my favorite places to shop. You can always find super creative and original stuff in every price range. From furniture, handmade clothes and accessories to antiques, food, and home decor. Etsy has it all!!

Usually I think candles are a pretty cheesy gift, but Besem Natural Scents has some of the most amazing candles! No joke. They have a wide variety of handmade candles and soaps that not only smell amazing, but are made completely with organic and fair trade ingredients. The best part is that 10% of all profits are given to orphan relief. In fact, the family who makes these products originally started the small, home-based business to raise money to fund their 2 adoptions. Check out Besem's Etsy shop here!!
